We use the Principles of Healing and Cleansing -
The goal of treatment is to cleanse your body of food or toxins, which can stay in your body and lead to illness. The cleansing process—called “panchakarma”— is designed to reduce and relieve your symptoms and restore harmony and balance, and promote wellness.
Energy medicine helps the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure. Reiki improves the flow of energy around and in the body it can enable relaxation, wellness, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness.
Reiki treatments are performed, in a peaceful, private setting, sometimes with chakra stones and without. The treatment can take place anywhere. During a session, the client will sit in a comfortable chair or lie on a table, fully clothed.
Maria Talton Ph.D., will then place her hands lightly on or over specific areas of the client’s head, limbs, and torso. She will typically keep her hands in these positions for 3–10 minutes.
If there is a particular injury, such as a burn, or pain, the she will hold her hands just above the wound.
There are times when she will hold her hands lightly on the body, at that time an energy transfer can take place. During this time, Maria may report that her hands feel warm or are tingling. She will hold each hand position until she sense that the energy has stopped flowing.
When she feels that the heat, or energy, in her hands has gone, she will remove her hands and place them over a different body area.
Products made from botanicals, or plants, that are used to treat diseases or to maintain health are called herbal products, botanical products, or phytomedicines. A product made from plants and used solely for internal use is called an herbal supplement.
Many prescription drugs and over-the-counter medicines are also made from plant products, but these products contain only purified ingredients and are regulated by the FDA. Herbal supplements may contain entire plants or plant parts.
Herbal supplements come in all forms: dried, chopped, powdered, capsule, or liquid, and can be used in various ways, including:
The practice of using herbal supplements dates back thousands of years. Today, the use of herbal supplements is common among American consumers. However, they are not for everyone.
Yoni Steaming, Vaginal Steaming, Wellness, Self Care, Postpartum Support
Lingam is the Sanskrit word for penis and translates to "wand of light." The lingam is respected as a channel for sexual energy and pleasure. This is a man’s channel and connection to his own wisdom, power, vitality and sexuality.
The practices of both lingam and yoni steaming have roots tracing back to ancient times in Asia, Africa, Europe, Mexico, Central and South America. Knowledge of indigenous plant medicine was passed down generation by generation.
In an herbal steam session, one sits on a comfortable low stool over steaming warm water infused with customized blend of herbs. This is a natural and non-invasive way of absorbing the volatile oils through the skin directly into the bloodstream, and then around and through the body. The session is a private and relaxing experience where a man creates the space for him to tune out from the world, and tune within to himself and his inner sanctuary.
Benefits of a Lingam steam can include, but not limited to:
What to Expect During An Ion Cleanse Foot Detox Session
During a treatment session both bare feet are placed in a tub of warm water. The main control unit converts AC electricity to low power DC electricity which flows through a patented electrode called an array that is set in front of the feet in the footbath. Ions are then created when the electricity and the metal combine to split a water molecule from H2O into H+ and OH- ions. These ions travel through the body, neutralize oppositely charged particles such as free radicals, and through powerful osmotic pressure pull those neutralized particles out of the body through whatever skin surface is in contact with the water.
As the particles leave the body, they will come together and accumulate in the water, thus causing the water in the footbath to change colors. Fat and mucous residues found in the water after the footbath reflect the neutralized wastes that have left the body during the treatment session.
The Ion Foot Bath will cleanse, balance, and refresh your body and:
Acids, heavy metals, & residues left in the body from chemicals, foods, environmental pollutants, even medicines lower your body’s pH.
Blood pH should be slightly alkaline in the range of 7.35-7.45 for healthy function. If the blood pH level becomes too acidic, inflammation can occur as well as other symptoms and conditions including cancer.
At Allergy and Health Solutions Center we believe moderation and balance are key. Becoming too alkaline can also be problematic.
We recommend 5-7 treatments scheduled once a week.
Results are immediately visible as the ions are released through the feet into the water basin.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are diabetic, you must eat before receiving treatment with the Ion Cell Detox Foot Bath.
Our Infrared body wrap treatments are a calorie burning and detoxifying process that slims, tones, defines and reduces fat and cellulite throughout your body. Infrared aids in the breakdown of fat tissue with the use of Far infrared energy. This leads to calorie loss and reduces the appearance of cellulite. Far infrared energy is beneficial to everyone because it can be easily absorbed by the body. When Far infrared energy penetrates the skin, it transforms from light energy into heat energy. The thermal effect within deep layers of tissues causes blood vessels in capillaries to dilate, which promotes better blood circulation. Our Infrared Treatments apply heat to the body, which eliminates toxins and metabolic wastes by increasing sweat production. This can also lead to faster recovery of aching and injured muscles.
Increase Metabolism
The heat produced by the Infrared Body Wrap treatment is similar to a physical workout all while laying down for a period of fifty (50) minutes. This infrared heat stimulates the metabolism and increases blood circulation just like it would with a workout session. It will also increase your heart rate! This increased circulation will increase your basic metabolic rate and by doing so consumes or burns calories. As you relax in the gentle infrared wrap, your body is actually hard at work producing sweat, pumping blood, and burning calories. As your body increases sweat production to cool itself, your heart will work harder to pump blood at a greater rate to boost blood circulation.
Detox
Detoxifying our bodies is essential in order to eliminate elements that are not good for us such as toxic chemicals, pathogens, and heavy metals. Too many toxins can make the body feel fatigued, cause muscle aches and pain, lead to skin reactions like acne breakouts or rashes. This may cause overall sickness. Detoxifying and sweating these toxins out is important so that our systems can function optimally and we can maintain a healthy body.
The benefits from Infrared Body Wrap includes:
Better sleep and stress reduction.
Promotes relaxation.
Skin rejuvenation.
Aid in weight loss.
Cellulite reduction and inch loss.
Boost your immune system and increase metabolism.
Purges the body of toxins and fat through perspiration and bodily fluids.
Treatment of muscle and joint pain relief.
Increased blood circulation.
Menstrual pain relief.
The Infrared Body Wrap is a safe and healthy treatment, however, the treatments are not suitable for some medical conditions. Sessions should not be undertaken unless clients have received their Doctor's advice where any of the following conditions exist: Cannot exceed 250lbs.
This service is not recommended to those who are claustrophobic.
If any doubt exists, it is recommended that clients seek their doctor's or health practitioner's advice before the use of Infrared Body Wrap.
When our main seven chakras are open and balanced, energy can flow freely through our bodies and minds. When any of these energy centers are blocked, it leads to stagnation and can contribute to a variety of physical and spiritual ailments. If one of your chakras is out of alignment, it can either be overactive and flowing too freely or underactive, with blocked or impeded energy flow. This loss of balance can affect the area of life it's responsible for, causing mental health issues and physical symptoms.
In a Chakra Balancing Therapy session, Dr. Talton begins with a centering process to calm the mind, access a sense of compassion, and become fully present with the patient. She then focuses intention on the patient's highest good and places his or her hands lightly on the patient's body or makes sweeping hands motions above the body.
This process balances and realigns energy flow that has been disrupted by stress pain, or illness. The process eliminates blockages in the energy field so that the patient is in an optimal state for healing to occur.
You'll want to wear comfortable clothing to your session and be prepared to discuss your treatment goals. Are you seeking relaxation or stress management, relief from a specific symptom, such as nausea or pain or are you preparing for surgery or some other procedure? You will get the most out of this therapy if you can be specific about your healing needs.
If this is your first private session, Dr. Talton will ask you to complete a health questionnaire and any privacy documents that are required by law, such as HIPAA release forms, you will need to give verbal consent to the session.
In both settings, hospital, or studio or home, Maria will explain a little about Chakra Balancing and what to expect and answer any questions you have.
You remain fully clothed during a session and typically lie down or sit comfortably in a chair.
Sessions may last anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes for a full body treatment or as little as 5 to 15 minutes for a localized treatment of a specific injury.
People have many different reactions to Chakra Balancing Therapy. Some patients feel nothing at all. Others describe sensations of moving energy, deep relaxation, feelings of being supported and nurtured, or visions of images and colors. Some patients experience an emotional release such as tears, or they may develop insight into specific areas of their lives.

Reflexology is a type of therapy that uses gentle pressure on specific points along your feet (and possibly on your hands or ears as well) to help you feel better. The theory is that this eases stress, and that helps your body work better. It’s also known as zone therapy.
The way reflexology connects spots on the outside of your body to the inside is a bit like acupuncture and acupressure. But those therapies use points all over your body, not just on your feet, hands, and ears. And while reflexologists do use their hands, it isn’t a form of massage.
Like those other therapies, though, reflexology is complementary to medical treatments. It can be done alongside traditional care, but it’s not an alternative to it, and reflexologists don’t diagnose or treat illnesses.
Reflexology may help you feel less stressed, more relaxed, and more energized. But the benefits might go deeper if you have certain health issues.
Some people with medical conditions find that they feel less pain and discomfort if they have less stress, and reflexology may help with that. Researchers reviewed 17 studies of the psychological benefits of the therapy and found that it boosted feelings of well-being and made it easier for people to manage their conditions.
More research is needed to see if reflexology can have a direct effect on specific conditions, but based on what we know so far, it may ease:
It may also help:
To get to know you and make sure that reflexology is right for you, the therapist will start by asking questions about your health, what you eat, your lifestyle, and any conditions you have. Your answers will help them decide whether to work on your feet, hands, ears, or a combination of those. This is also the time to ask any questions you have.
Your skin reflects the health of the entire body. Good skin is always appealing to the eyes. Keeping your skin in excellent condition should be a top priority. A simple daily routine and spa treatments when needed will keep your skin looking healthy all year long.
Everyone’s skin is not the same. Therefore, skin treatments vary from person to person. Sensitive skin treatments differ from normal skin treatments, and oily skin treatments differ from dry skin treatments. A holistic facial is about more than just using "organic products", it considers the individual as a whole. A holistic facial is supportive of your mind-body & soul interconnection as it is created for each client personally, to meet their individual skin needs.
Aztec clay is one of the most beneficial clay as it's not only made from natural clay, but its properties have been of value for centuries. Clay masks are most commonly used on the face but can also be used on the hair and the body. They can help to clear up skin conditions such as acne.
Is the secret to radiant skin sitting in your spice cabinet? One of the buzziest skincare ingredients right now is turmeric, a golden yellow spice that doesn’t just taste good, it can also deliver some major skin benefits, according to dermatologists. Turmeric Facials can help calm skin rashes, lighten dark spots and hyperpigmentation, treat acne and brighten skin tone, just to name a few of its benefits.
It moisturizes, protects, exfoliates, and cleanses your skin. Oatmeal also helps boost collagen production, improves your skin complexion, and reduces skin inflammation. Manuka honey is a strong anti-aging ingredient because of its anti-oxidant and moisturizing effect: it will remove dull tone, age spots and will plump skin with moisture minimizing fine lines and wrinkles.
Nasyam therapy is a traditional Ayurvedic treatment where herbal oils, powders, or juices are administered through the nasal passages. It's to clear the sinuses, improve respiratory health, and even benefit neurological conditions. The specific substances used can vary based on individual needs and conditions.
1. **Procedure:
* During a Nasyam therapy session, the person typically lies down with their head tilted back slightly. The therapist then administers the herbal preparation drop by drop into the nostrils, usually one at a time. The individual may be asked to inhale deeply to ensure the substance reaches deep into the nasal passages.
2. **Benefits:** Nasyam have a range of benefits, including clearing the sinuses of excess mucus and toxins, improving breathing, reducing congestion, and enhancing the functioning of sensory organs associated with the head (such as eyes, ears, and brain). It's also thought to promote mental clarity and relieve certain headaches.
3. **Types of Substances:** The substances used in Nasyam therapy can vary depending on the individual's constitution and specific health needs. Commonly used materials include herbal oils (such as sesame oil), herbal powders, herbal juices, and medicated ghee (clarified butter).

However, its efficacy can vary depending on the individual and the specific condition being treated.
5. **Precautions:** While Nasyam therapy is generally considered safe when performed by a trained practitioner, it's important to ensure that the substances used are appropriate for the individual's condition and constitution. Additionally, it may not be suitable for everyone, especially those with certain nasal abnormalities or acute infections. As with any medical treatment, it's best to consult with a qualified healthcare prover first.
The "Karna Purana" is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy that involves the administration of medicated oils or herbal liquids into the ears. It is sometimes referred to as "Karna Purana" or "Karna Purana therapy." This treatment is believed to have various benefits for ear health and overall well-being.
During Karna Purana therapy, warm herbal oils or herbal liquids are poured into the ears and allowed to remain there for a specific period. The therapy is said to lubricate the ears, remove excess earwax, alleviate earaches, and improve hearing. It may also have a calming effect on the mind and nervous system.
Karna Purana therapy is often used as part of Panchakarma, an Ayurvedic detoxification and rejuvenation process, but it can also be administered as a standalone treatment. However, it's essential to seek guidance from a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner before undergoing any Ayurvedic therapy to ensure it's appropriate for your individual needs and health condition.

1. **Materials Used:** The oils used in Abhyanga are often selected based on the individual's dosha or specific health concerns. Commonly used oils include sesame oil, coconut oil, almond oil, or a combination of oils infused with Ayurvedic herbs such as Ashwagandha, Brahmi, or Triphala.
2. **Technique:** Abhyanga is typically performed in a warm, quiet environment to enhance relaxation. The massage starts at the scalp and moves down to the soles of the feet, covering the entire body. Circular motions, long strokes, and gentle kneading are commonly used techniques. It's important to apply gentle pressure and massage in the direction of hair growth.
3. **Duration:** The duration of an Abhyanga massage can vary depending on individual preferences and time availability. It's recommended to spend at least 15-20 minutes on the massage to allow the oils to penetrate the skin and provide therapeutic benefits.
4. **Benefits:** Abhyanga offers a wide range of benefits for both physical and mental health. Besides those mentioned earlier, it can also help improve sleep quality, reduce muscle tension and stiffness, enhance joint mobility, promote healthy digestion, and support emotional well-being by reducing stress and anxiety.
5. **Precautions:** While Abhyanga is generally considered safe for most people, it may not be suitable for individuals with certain health conditions such as fever, acute inflammation, skin infections, or during pregnancy (unless under the guidance of a qualified practitioner). It's always a good idea to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner or healthcare provider before starting any new self-care practices, especially if you have underlying health concerns.
Pichu is an Ayurvedic therapy that involves applying a warm herbal oil-soaked cotton pad or cloth to a specific area of the body, typically the head or joints. The cloth is saturated with medicated oil and placed over the affected area for a period of time, allowing the therapeutic properties of the oil to be absorbed through the skin.
The word "Pichu" is derived from the Sanskrit word "Pichh," which means "cotton pad." This therapy is often used to alleviate pain, inflammation, and stiffness in joints, muscles, and other areas of the body. It is believed to have a nourishing and rejuvenating effect on the tissues, promote healing, and restore balance to the affected area.
Pichu therapy is commonly recommended for conditions such as arthritis, headaches, muscle injuries, and neurological disorders. It is usually performed as part of a comprehensive Ayurvedic treatment plan under the guidance of a qualified practitioner. The duration and frequency of Pichu therapy may vary depending on the individual's condition and response to treatment.
Pizhichil, also known as "Thailadhara," is a unique Ayurvedic therapy that combines two traditional treatments: "Snehana" (oil massage) and "Swedana" (heat therapy). It is considered one of the most luxurious and rejuvenating therapies in Ayurveda and is often referred to as the "King's Treatment" due to its historical association with royalty.
In Pizhichil therapy, warm medicated herbal oils are poured over the entire body while simultaneously being massaged by two therapists. The therapists use synchronized, rhythmic movements to distribute the oil evenly across the body. The warm oil is continuously replenished throughout the session to ensure a constant flow over the skin.
The duration of a Pizhichil session can vary, but it typically lasts for about 60 to 90 minutes. After the massage, the person may be advised to rest for a short period to allow the therapeutic oils to penetrate the skin and nourish the body.

Pizhichil therapy is usually performed as part of a comprehensive Ayurvedic treatment plan under the guidance of a qualified practitioner. The number of sessions recommended may vary depending on the individual's health condition and treatment goals. Overall, Pizhichil is revered for its ability to promote holistic health and well-being.
Podikizhi, also known as Choorna Swedam, is an Ayurvedic therapy that involves massaging the body with linen bags filled with herbal powders. It is a form of Swedana (sudation therapy) and is commonly used to alleviate pain, inflammation, stiffness, and improve circulation.
During a Podikizhi session, the herbal powders are first heated in a pan and then tied into linen bags or boluses. These boluses are dipped into warm medicated oils and then used to massage the body, focusing on specific areas of concern or the entire body.
The massage technique involves rhythmic tapping, pounding, and kneading movements to stimulate the tissues and facilitate the absorption of the herbal properties into the skin. The warmth from the herbal boluses helps to open up the pores, allowing the medicinal compounds to penetrate deeply and promote healing.
Podikizhi therapy is often recommended for conditions such as arthritis, joint pain, muscle stiffness, sciatica, and certain neurological disorders. It is believed to have a detoxifying effect on the body, improve circulation, relieve muscle tension, and promote relaxation.
The duration and frequency of Podikizhi sessions may vary depending on the individual's health condition and treatment goals. It is typically performed as part of a comprehensive Ayurvedic treatment plan under the guidance of a qualified practitioner.
